To wrap up the year, I have one last refresher - metrics and KPIs.
This one matters most. It’s the area where our stakeholders (product, marketing, finance, customer success, sales, etc.) need the most support.
This should be the BI expertise area, but every stakeholder would disagree. They don’t think it’s hard to come up with the right hypothesis—and if we don’t intervene, everything ends up being measured against revenue or ARPU. 😄
So today, I’m sharing a consolidated list of my favorite evergreen resources on metric definitions, formulas, how to use metrics in practice, and how to build good proxies.
