As a tradition, I put together a list of the biggest events scheduled for this year in data analytics, data science, and data engineering to help you plan the year ahead. Most of these are big conferences and annual summits. I am partnering with some of the organizers below, so if you need help getting tickets, accessing the agenda, or recordings, let me know.

Analytics and Data Summit
April 9-11, Redwood Shores, California
The 3-day summit is organized and managed by Oracle community and offers working sessions, hand-on labs all things Oracle.
Gartner Data & Analytics Summit
Gartner summit will happen on March 11-13 in Orlando, Florida, and then on July 29 - 30 in Sydney, Australia. It will focus on anything analytics-related, from setting a data analytics strategy, data technology, trends, and data leadership.
Real time Analytics Summit
May 7-9, San Jose, California
An annual conference focused on real-time data - how to design, build, and run real-time analytics at scale.
Data Summit 2024
May 8-9, Boston, MA
This summit is an annual event that has been running since 2014. The summit is focused on data management and also will include special events like AI and ML Learning Summit, DataOps Bootcamp, and Database and DevOps Bootcamp.
World Data Summit
May 15-17, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
World Data Summit is an annual 3-day conference focused on analytics - market segmentation, digital attribution, user experience journeys, data privacy and ethics, and more.
Snowflake Data Cloud Summit
June 3-6, San Francisco, CA
Snowflake Summit is the annual 4-day Snowflake conference with many sessions, workshops, and training. As of now, over 450 sessions are scheduled across data architecture and analytics.
AI & Big Data Expo
June 5-6, Santa Clara, California
Hosts over 7,000 attendees this year with over 250 speakers. This massive event covers a wide range of topics within AI and Big Data - deep learning, chatbots, AI, Big Data Analytics, Enterprise adoption, data monetization, and (of course) a lot about BI.

ODSC is the annual Open Data Science Conference with approx 3,800 attendees. This is one of the largest ML and AI events and offers training, networking, and demos.
Women in Data Science
May 14, Seattle, WA
Women in Data Science Puget Sound Conference will include a “datathon” and some workshops focused on applied ML and analytics. The Women in Data Science (WiDS) community aims to inspire and educate data scientists around the world, regardless of gender. It started as a conference at Stanford in November 2015. Now, it is a massive global conference event with approximately 150+ regional events worldwide.

Databricks Data and AI Summit 2024
June 10-13, San Francisco + virtual
The premier event for the global data, analytics, and AI community returns to San Francisco on June 10-13. Four days packed with keynotes by industry leaders and visionaries, technical sessions, hands-on training, and networking opportunities.
Research and Applied AI Summit
June 14, TBD (Europe)
RAAIS brings together 200 AI researchers, engineers, founders, and operators from around the world for a day of best practices and good vibes. It is organized by The RAAIS Foundation UK charity and Air Street Capital venture firm.
MLDM 2024

MLDM is the International Conference on ML and Data Mining. The workshops include data mining in marketing, case-based reasoning, and multimedia forensic data analysis.

Big Data Conference Europe
November 20-22, Vilnius, Lithuania + online
With over 400 attendees, the events cover ML, AI, Cloud, NLP, Data streaming, predictive data analytics, and more.
